My hai ris boring me i need to get it cut and im not sure what to get .

i have curly brown hair but i use straightening products so somedays il leave it wavy or such. Im used to straigtening my hair everyday so i dont mind that what do you guys think?

Wow... FOB isnt emo(they're one of my favorite bands, so I'm not a hater) anyway. Just wear clothes. Seriously the clothing at those concerts are crazy different you have nothing to worry about you wont stick out just wear an outfit you like (not too much though, if you get caught in a crowd it might get ruined.)

Fall Out Boy is not really a "scene" band. They're so mainstream that every little type of clique you can think of are at their concerts. You'll see the "preps" in all their Hollister tank top and denim mini skirts glory, kids as young as 10 going to their first concert with mom, frat boys, and so on. But if you want to look scene, basically tease your hair on the top, add a Hello kitty hairclip, wear some skinny jeans, and layer brightly colored tshirts.

Really good hair dying skill. If your not good with hair dye I would get it done professionally. It could end up being pretty pricey. It looks really cool though.

maybe she has extentions in the back (the black hair) but she bleached it and stripped it and added the colors you see and because she has layers that makes it look like that as well. but even if you dont add extensions just do your hair in two sections the first half blonde and the other half black

Sally's beauty Supply has many bright color to chose from... but be aware that many vibrant colors fade quickly. You my have to touch up often to keep color looking fresh

I'm a straight girl. I have a friend who claims to be a straight girl but whos sexuality is a bit, shall we say, disputed. I don't mind that. I have gay friends and straight friends and friends who claim to be one but whom I suspect to be another. It's just that the ambiguity in our relationship is troublesome.

She's a few years younger than me and has kind of a crush. I'm not sure if its a "girl" crush or a crush on a girl. I don't want to be a jerk. I like her a lot. I want to be friends. But she's flirting in a way that's begining to make me (and the people around us) a bit uncomfortable. Touching, compliments, all that. The other night she rubbed my hair and told me I have great breasts. I mean, that's pretty straightforward, right? Sally's hair supply or basically any hair care store sells colored hair gel that washes out instantly in one wash, but this only works on light hair if it's a vibrant look your going for. Or for a longer more vibrant color try manic panic, hair dye. It washes out in a couple months with regular washing, or you can reapply to keep your vibrant color until you don't want it anymore, and if you dont want to wait long enough for it to come out with washing, it can easily be dyed over with a darker natural hair color dye. The two hairstyles look very similar, but I suppose I like the second one better. Mainly because of the two tone effect that she has going on.

Those hairstyles are very popular right now, so either one I think would be good. But if you don't have really straight hair, then I suggest you purchase a very good hair straightner to get that effect.

Wear either vans or flat shoes with really tight jeans and a tight top. Use tank tops for layering. Long necklaces like pearls or beads look scene. Wear bright eyeliner and eyeshadow like pink purple blue green red.

Make sure you part your hair to the side. Choppy layers look very scene and bangs.

after you wash it, while it is wet, rub just a lil bit of moose into your hair and spread it all around.. try not to get the moose too close to the roots.. or your roots will look greasy.. and dont use too much moose either.. just enough to spread around your hair.. i like herbal essances moose.. then flip your head upside down.. and blow dry it completely dry...while you are drying it keep taking a brush to it.. to make sure it stays straight. this always works for me!

I would suggest shorter hair with layers maybe, I dont know how short your hair is already. but you could try using volumizing shampoo and conditioners and look for a cream or moouse that will help add volume. It's a tought.......... try talking to you hair stylist about it! =D

Blow drying upside down does work-there are also styling products-mouse adds volume and there are types of shampoos-not real sure on those-but whatever you try-less is more-too much product can weigh your hair down -have you considered maybe a perm-not a tight curly perm but just one to add the volume--even highlights or color can increase the diameter of your hair shaft--hope it helped :O)

I think your hair is cute as is. Have you ever considered getting extensions if you really want to have more versatile looks?

2weeks ago I had that same problem, and of course my hair was on the shoulder. I went to the salon and got an A symetrical bob. Off the shoulder easy to style, and manageable. All I do for my hair is wrap it in the same direction every night, put oil sheen on it and maybe put some heat on it. If you wrap it every night it will add body and bounce to it as if you just left the salon trust me it is "HOT". When I wake up in the morning all i do is unwrap it and be on my way. My husband loves it. Not to much was cut off and we both was Happy..lol

I saw your pictures girlfriend why not try some braids with extensions or glue in some hair and add some. You have things you can explore with to make it what you are looking for. im getting my hair cut tomorrow and i have some ideas in mind but i want to bring pics for examples.

i would prefer if it were a guy from a band so that my mom doesnt think im just googling pictures of emo guys for cool hairstyles (she already thinks im emo).

i want something thats kinda long and shaggy but straight in different places, sorry.. kinda confusing i know (and i love the kind of hairstyles that are different lengths all over the head but i cant find a great example yet).

I'm considering getting a haircut where the back and everything but the bangs (swoop) are somewhat short, not completely buzzed, but short, about an inch or so long. The bangs would be rather long, about down to my lip, and I want the bangs to fade into the shorter hair in the back and top, not just suddenly shorten.

would they not remove evidence if they are collecting it as part of an investigation? do you think they just leave evidence once they find it, on the ground, to be blown away by wind, or hurt or washed away?

they fill out a form when they collect it and give it to whatever forensic team there, to follow the chain of custody.

Your a very pretty girl! Maybe you could try a deep auburn color if you want to bring out the ivory color of your skin tone. Or, if you want to, add golden highlights with reddish undertones. That would look great on you!

theyll mess it up because they dont know what scene is because theyre middle age and im guessing that if you still want scene hair that your not middle age.

Hmm...that's hard.

I would say get it cut shorter in a new style, but since you want it to grow...I don't know. I'd get extensions, but they can be expensive. And take vitamin B12 pills to make it grow faster.

You could do one against a coloured wall if you have one and have someone take it a little above you with you looking up and then you could brighten and contrast the photo on the computer to make it look real cool! Or you can just not edit it.

i don't have any pictures, but when you have your hair cut with a razor, it looks nice and edgy. if you're going for that emo/scene style/look, definitely have the stylist use a razorblade or use scissors, but cut at an angle. go to a nice salon, not some cheap $12 one and you should be fine.

We've recieved the police report. The victim was a 42 year old man, who was stabbed multiple times in the chest with a pair of scissors. A cigarette was found at the scene that matched his DNA. A bottle with a red substance (a drink) was found on a nearby picnic table, and forensics found a partial fingerprint on it. A scarf was also found at the scene with dog hair and a sandy blonde human hair. The prime suspect at this point is the wife. I'm looking for possible defense arguments we could use. We've ruled out self-defense, because there were multiple stab wounds on the victim. Right now we're looking at a Heat of the Moment defense, or maybe insanity. Anyone have any other suggestions?

i'm getting it cut tomorrow, i want the hairstyle where its short in the back and long in the front. its kind of scene. i know those kids have names for all of their hairstyles (coontail, peacock, etc.), so i was wondering if anyone knew it for this particular style. i'm getting it tomorrow, so help, quick! I also NEED pictures. (scene ones are the best, because they are the most dramatic. i have yet to find a good one, though.) it not really a bob (but the back is the same length as a bob, at the nape of the neck.), although the names i've heard for it are like inverted bob and asymmetrical bob. but those just aren't dramatic enough! lol. i want lots o' layers too. :D

DO NOT cut your own hair. You'll look like a wannabe emo kid who went at their face with a pair of scissors. Find a different hairstylist and ask them if they can do exactly that haircut. Don't be afraid to correct them, its YOUR hair. If they can't do it, thank them for their time and keep looking. I went into Hot Topic and asked the employees where they got their hair cut, most of them said various local places and a specific hairstylist. Don't be afraid to ask someone who cut their hair, its a compliment.

I see a few people wearing them at my school, and it's mostly the scene kids who are wearing them. In my opinion, you have to pick wisely. Not everyone wears them right (I've seen a girl put one right in the middle of her bangs, basically making it pointless and looking a mess), plus if you have red hair or something and you throw a green bow in your hair it's going to look a little off.

tie it back in a bun/pony tail and pin your bangs back with clips or in a headband. most adults really hate when you have hair in your face, but you could still leave your hair down and just flip it in or out at the ends and wear a cute solid colored, thick headband. you will be able to look cute and ladylike at the same time without looking way too old.

I think your best bet would be making it wavy or curling it. I wouldn't do lots of tight spiral curls, I would do a medium, messy curl.

Don't straiten it with flatiron or any other straitener it damages the hair so my thought would be....

Layers.... and highlights ok only alittle lighter than your original color because it would look funny with off colors. any kind of ironer will damage your hair. what it is accually doing is burning your hair stiff. and be careful with blowdryers they can be harmful too. the safest way would be combing and blowdrying it strait..... i think if you get layers it will look nice. Also do NOT put conditioner on your scalp it makes it greesy.. if you want to have more healthy hair put the shampoo at the top and the conditioner, middle and ends. unless you have tangles by the scalp.......... put alittle conditioner.....

The key to perfect hair is the scalp, keep it healthy

The thing I really noticed is that your hair looks a little dry. With waves and curls, it is key to keep the very well hydrated and moisturized. Pick up a good moisture conditioner and really condition your hair.

I feel your pain my hair is roughly the same as yours (maybe a little more wavy/curly), and I too like the Emo hair dos but it just doesn't work with out putting more than 5 minuets into it. My suggestion would be to wear it up if you can and look into like 40's or 50's looks they turn out really cute and most of them you can tweak a little to look more modern or not, but either way they are cute and usually don't take much time to pull together.

What I would do is hydrate your hair it looks dry.

try using Vive Pro Nutri Gloss.

But by judging the way your hair is wavy/curly

it is going to take longer..You hair type is about like mine

So it should take about an hour...I know its sucks to straighten your hair for that long....but that will also add some length to your hair..

Make sure you use heat protection!.... Tre Semmme has some really good Hairspray and heat protector.

To make sure your hair stays staright all day split your hair in two sections the longer parts and shorter parts deal with one at a time to starighten and hairspray till you are all done.

I wouldn't suggest many highlights....But thats just me.. Your bangs will grow out soon enough..just wait.. it won't be that long.

okay, well let's start off with hair.

if you have long brown hair, try straightening it, and putting it in a ponytail with a pouf...braids are also cute.

if you have long blonde hair, messy buns and the pouf looks good too. i have longish blonde hair and what i do is put it in a pouf and then spray it with salt water which makes it beach wavy which is super cute!

in my opinion, any hair looks good side parted. also, try straightening or culring hair...its fun and easy!

as for makeup, you don't want to put on a lot. a little goes a long way....looks and coverage. for blue eyes, try a musty brown eye shadow and navy blue mascara. the navy makes ur eye color stand out. for brown eyes, black mascara and maybe a little brown eye shadow. for any color eyes, if you want to wear eyeliner, just dot it in between the lashes, and then rub it with ur finger, it looks more natural.

hmmm I don't really like it personally.

if you want it to be really big, I think you should focus more on the top portion of the hair, maybe tease it closer to the roots and use some hairspray at the under part of the root.

I'm 30, oops 31, and have thought about getting this done myself. The only thing that kept me from doing it was upkeep. I saw a women one day that had it done the opposite way, dark on top and blonde underneath. This would be a great way to get the "look" without "following" everyone else. you can do bright blue or emerald green.

those are your shadow/liner colors. stick with a black mascara. do a golden blush with alittle bit of pink that's shimmery. for you lips you can go anywhere from a darker coral to a deep bronze.

when you go to a salon, ask to get a lot of layers, using a razor cut technique (and so you won't be surprised if you haven't done this before: if your hair isn't wet enough, it might hurt) you should also get it thinned out at the bottom as well and before anything tell 'em you want to keep the length (i've realized most stylists are scissor happy)...hope i helped!

i think so. extensions are a pain in the *** though they cost a lot and they are a pain to get in and to take out so i think you would just be fine with layers that are really choppy. as for the eyeshadow yes just don't use to many colors at one time.

Extensions are a pain, don't get them, and don't get your hair layered. Your hair looks lovely and fine, and I really don't think 'scene' hair would fit you. If you do get it layered though, I'd recommend getting clip-in hair extensions, so you won't have to go through the hassle of the other kind. You look good, either way.

Just based on the example you gave, it sounds as though you have a touch of obsessive-compulsive disorder. As long as it doesn't rule your life, I wouldn't worry about it too much, although you might mention it to your doctor. Being told not to remove hair is a strange request, and I can see how somebody might think and worry about that a lot. (If a doctor told me to be sure not to, I don't know, blow my nose through my right nostril, I'm sure I'd be obsessing about that!) You might also just be "using" the hair thing as a way to channel other fears you don't want to deal with directly--such as whatever medical thing is happening to you. If so, it should probably go away after things get back to normal for you. If, however, you're also washing your hands 500 times a day, running home from the office twelve times a day just to make sure you did lock the door, etc., you really should seek help from a therapist or, at the very least, your medical doctor.

Personally i think its a compulsive behaviour and either you are a perfectionist or you are very forgetful. Try and use a list book, write down things that you are planning to do in advance that way, you can always check mark whatever you do. It might be that you dwell on other things too much and forget others but if you follow a formula like the list and do then yu can always go through the book and double check whatever you did. Sit for 1 min and think about (having only that in mind) Its ur decision and u are making for yourself. I believe this movie came on HBO or Cinimax. It was in the late 90's possibly 90-91 that I saw this on HBO. IT is a couple who goes to this hotel and stays in Ireland and this hotel is haunted by two ghost of a man who murdered his wife by stabbing her on the wedding night and they recreate it every night in this castle nad the new couple is spending the night in this room. The husband falls in love with the female ghost and his wife falls in love with the male ghost. The ending is that the wife of the alive jumps from a window and kills herself to be with the ghost man and the ghost lady wakes up in the other guys wifes body only it is her . I know the actress had really long hair. One of the scenes the husband jumps in front of the ghost guy and is ghost stabbed instead if the woman and that is how he meets the ghost lady for the 1st time. I beleive this was supposed to be a comedy but I am not sure. I want the name of this movie....

lots of layers (tease them) ummm bangs parted to one side (long or shorter bangs ,both work) maybe color ur hair to, just something funky (be aware of going black, its hard to get out)

that is a HUGE change, and everybody is going to start calling you fake.

You have to first cut it different.

Then dye it.

Then cut it again.

then dye the other parts.

and keep SLOWLY changing it.

because first time, completely morphing it.

is going to look extremely different on you.

Given the amount of makeup they put on, (factoring in 2 hours for the eyeliner alone), the dye job on thier hair and the hours it must take to put on those super skinny skin tight jeans...I'm thinking...10 hours.

First of all, it takes me like five minutes to do my eyeliner.

I don't know anybody that cuts.... That's so 90's and nobody does it that I know.

And my skinny jeans go on just as fast as anybody else's.

And maybe i have the wrong idea about Emo music, but most of the stuff i listen to is about boys and their girlfriends and stuff and it's sensitive and heartfelt, not all depressing and ship....

So maybe it does take like 30-45 minutes to shower and dress, and towel dry my hair, but when I put my Chucks on, the laces all lie flat.... If you don't like it, leave without me!

If you're panties are in that much of a knot, maybe you need to spend more time dressing too.

God, I know. I know this scene girl....let's see!

Take shower- (for her anyway) 30 minutes

Straighten hair until it's FRIED- 2 hours

Put on all that eye makeup- 5 hours

And more makeup!- 2 hours

Attempt to get into those SUPER SKINNNNY PANTS that are 20 sizes wayyyy to small- 1 hour

Put other tight clothes on- 1 hour

Cut herself- 1 hour (really really really sad!!!!!! I feel for her!)

Get hospitalized (SHe's in the hospital right now!)- 3 hours!

Drive to school- 30 minutes!

And the Grand TOTAL!!!!!!! - 16 hours!!!!!!!!!!! WOAH! She misses school everyday, maybe that's why, it takes so long to get ready! lol!

Ha ha! What a hilarious question. I'm guessing all day. Or they just prepare the night before and sleep in their clothes. Must explain why sometimes they look a mess.

But I have to disagree with the first posters remark on cutting. That doesn't make you scene. Your friend may be "really really really sad" but she's probably doing that for a reason, not a fad. You should really read up on her problem rather than poke fun at it. Cutting means there is an underlying issue...it does not make you a certain genre or style except for emotionally distraught...which is not a music term. If you "feel for her" as you say then you would not have mentioned this. Because now you're just making her vulnerable to attacks regarding her personality, this is how people get labeled as things and it's so ridiculous and cruel it's not even funny. Usually the label-ers are the ones with the problem because they need to build themselves up by looking at others imperfections.

for a pop

you can do bright blue or emerald green.

those are your shadow/liner colors. stick with a black mascara. do a golden blush with alittle bit of pink that's shimmery. for you lips you can go anywhere from a darker coral to a deep bronze.

it looks like you have pale(r) skin to me, perhaps getting black hair would be fitting, and get say, a blonde/some light colour at the back of your hair.. those looks are really hot, to me at least!

i would say you should get a side bang.. seems to suit the scene/emo hair better, since it covers more of your face

I love your hair in those pics! Love the cut, love the bangs! You've got those big eyes which I would not hide, so my suggestion would be to go slightly shorter on the bangs just to clean up any fried ends %26amp; definitely do color. If you're going for the emo thing, I would do really dark underneath %26amp; cut the back into more of an A-line bob, leaving the front longer. I would not put darker streaks on top or in your bangs, though. Way too harsh for your color. Personally, I think what would flatter your skin, would be to add some chunky platinum blondes, but that sort of defeats your whole emo/scene purpose, I think.

styling wax or i have Garnier Fructis Surf Wax which would probably do the same thing. just flip your hair upside down and run you hands through your hair with the surf wax and shake it around a lot it should work

She most likely used either a stying wax or pomade (they have a really thick consistency, kind of pudding-ish haha). Take a little bit in the palm of your hand or on the tips of your fingers and smooth it through your hair in the direction you want it to stick up.

There's a line of hair products called "Tigi" that would probably help you achieve that look. You'd probably need the "bedhead" products. It might also depend on your hair type though, I have really thick hair so there is no way I could get mine to stay like that. Good luck!

ooh i like that its funky, yes its going to look great in a pony aswell cos your bangs will be at the side but you might need some bobby pins to hold some hair back as it'll always come out.

but one thing,for this hairstyle you'll need to straighten daily for it to look perfect,also it;ll look great with some curls,loose or tight.

Only if you don't want bangs hanging down on your face would I suggest not to get this cut, because the bangs are short and gorgeous!

It's cute, definitely. That would be a pro. Other pros:

- Adds volume

-Frames your face

- More interesting!

Cons:

- Well, I got a haircut like that. When I first got it, the salon had styled it and such so it was really nice. But once I washed it, it didn't frame my face nearly as well. It's still nice enough, just not incredible.

- With layers that extreme, it would definitely be harder to wear your hair up.

- The bangs always get in your eyes- kind of annoying!

Overall, though, I would say that if you don't mind a little annoyance, or if you have lots of time to make it look just right, go for it!

I would tone down the layers/ bangs a little though.

That hair cut is trash.

That is some botched job from SuperCuts.

If your hair is extremely layered, it's difficult to get all of your hair in a ponytail. I myself have a "Scene/emo haircut" or "femme mullet", and it looks funny in a ponytail because of the shorter layers on top.

Pro: It's super cute, and not everyone on the street has it.

Con: It's a ***** to keep my hair up, I have to use a texturizing comb 5 times a day, and submerge my hair in hair spray. Another con? Everyone and their mother on MySpace has my haircut.

i had my hair like htat and now im trying to grow it out. if you liek to straighten your hair, then of course! it would loook great. i straighten it and i get compliments all the time!!

but if you dont straighten it, then the shortest layers will poof. like now for me, i didnt straighten it , its all poofy!!!!

its easy to fit in a ponytail. for braids, hair is sticking out and it doesntlook good. i would say tell ur dresser to have longer layers.

From "normal" to emo/goth/scene?

I am pretty "normal" I guess. I don't fit into the emo kids, the nerds, the preps (even though I do dress pretty preppy, I am talking about straight up Prep school kids) or whatever. I used to think that the kids wearing all black with the angled hair were weird but I know now that it's stupid to judge people like that. Anyway, my real question is how exactly do "normal" kids go from being normal to being emo or goth or whatever? I hear stories about people who seem to turn emo overnite and I know people who suddenly change. Anyone have personal experience and know?

Some people "turn into" emo/goth/etc because they are trying to fit in with a group of people they want to accept them. Some people like the music and dress to match. Some people just like the way the clothes look on them. Some people find a group that accepts them and decide to dress to fit their peers. Some people do it for more than one of these reasons. The point is, to dress how you want to and not to worry what others think about it. I was a "normal" kid in school but I was also a goth kid and about a dozen other things depending on what music I liked at the time and what clothes I thought looked cute. Good luck and stay true to yourself.

i wouldnt say people change overnite but its more of being yourself. i teetered between punk and prep for a long time.....wanting to fit in but also wanting to be myself...well i finally decided whats so special about fiting in with people that look exactly alike. whos to say that thats the set standard of whats normal. what all this is really about is finding a positive way to express yourself...and well many people find that through the way they dress. my average outfit is some layered black shirts, jeans, spiked belt with the buckle in the back and my black ugg boots. im not trying to set a standard of fit in with one...its just how i feel most comfortable.

80% of the styling is the cut. The cut is very short up at the crown, and it looks like a razor cut throughout the hair with very jagged fringe.

You would need the cut to do the style right.

Wash, towel dry. Put a texturizer in your hair and blow out straight. Then clip top layers out of the way and use a flat iron to start around the fringes and flatten out the hair and use a strong hair spray to hold it in place. Then keep working your way up, one section at a time. When you get to the crown, iron the hair straight and use your fingers to really pull out the piece-y ness. And another coating of strong hair spray should hold it.

What I would do is hydrate your hair it looks dry.

try using Vive Pro Nutri Gloss.

Its in a pink bottle=amazing.

But by judging the way your hair is wavy/curly

it is going to take longer..You hair type is about like mine

So it should take about an hour...I know its sucks to straighten your hair for that long....but that will also add some length to your hair..

Make sure you use heat protection!.... Tre Semmme has some really good Hairspray and heat protector.

To make sure your hair stays staright all day split your hair in two sections the longer parts and shorter parts deal with one at a time to starighten and hairspray till you are all done.

I wouldn't suggest many highlights....But thats just me.. Your bangs will grow out soon enough..just wait.. it won't be that long.

In the heart of the dimly lit room, the shadowy figure stood amongst near darkness. Betrayed only by the ominous glow of the moon peering through the faded curtains, he nervously paced the sparsely furnished room in slow, steady strides. The mahogany floor boards moaned beneath his blood soaked athletic sneakers, leaving behind a crimson path. Back and forth, back and forth, plodding along until eventually his long, slender legs grew tired and his mind weary.

Time was running out and still no solution, he thought to himself as his knees unhinged to allow him to position himself atop the dusty, sheet covered, recliner chair.

His eager, green eyes searched frantically around the room hoping to locate something, anything that could possibly assist with the disposal of the body. Nothing, the room was devoid of anything but a chair, a few tattered newspapers, himself, and the freshly deceased corpse.

Breathing in the cool air that reeked of mildew and death, the onyx haired man sat trying to compose himself. He was unable to rid his mind of the gruesome details. It was still extremely difficult for him to comprehend what had actually happened in those four crucial minutes.

Had it really only taken four minutes? Four minutes for his entire life to go to shambles? He didn閳ユ獩 believe it, couldn閳ユ獩 believe it.

He rubbed his eyes in a desperate attempt to purge his thoughts of the horrible images, but immediately recoiled when he felt the warmth wetness and its copper smell on his hands. It was everywhere, embedded under his fingernails, splattered across his white cotton t-shirt, soaked in his shaggy, unkempt hair, and in nearly every crevasse of his body. He wondered how it was possible for someone so tiny, so dainty to bleed so much.

He remembered the way her shrill voice pierced his ears as the razor-sharp blade found its way into her chest cavity, impaling her, the hot blood that oozed out and onto his hands, the knife falling to the floor with a loud clatter, the way her limpid eyes swelled with tears, and the way her body became limp, lifeless as all color drained from her face. He was a killer, a cold blooded murderer.

A maniacal smirk stretched across his pale face, as he sat alone in the dark. The chair in which he was seated held all the answers.

i loved it! i have a degree in english and rhetoric. so, that being said, your overusing commas. read your paper aloud, in front of someone who hasn't read your piece and tell them whenever it seems like there should be a pause, tell you. that's where a new sentence should start, you have too many run ons.

"Nothing. The room..." (period)

"unkempt hair and in nearly..." (no comma needed)

It's actually really well written..One thing that might give some readers trouble though, is your use of SO many adjectives. You describe things beautifully but your first paragraph is completely full of information that might make it difficult for some readers to comprehend.
